Prizes will be awarded on the basis of a 90-minute examination sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University.

Plaques will also be awarded for the five highest team scores.

Eligibility:

Any high school student in the State of New Jersey

Program:

November 21, 2009
10:00am to 11:30am Examination
12:00pm to 1:00pm Lunch (provided)
(The winners will be announced at the end of the luncheon)

Examination:

Sixteen (16) questions chosen from Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Theory of Equations, Combinatorics, Probability and miscellaneous elementary topics in Mathematics. Calculators may not be used.

Registration:

Registration information is available through your High School Mathematics Department. There is an $8 non-refundable registration fee for each contestant.
